How clean is the air you breathe?

How does it work?
Static charge is produced by forcing air across the filtration medias. This static charge attracts and traps airborne particles into filter just like a magnet.

Cleaning instruction
Clean the electrostatic filter every 4 -5 weeks or more often if needed. Since this filter captures more then your average filter, you really do need to clean it regularly. Failure to clean the filter will void the product warranty and will effect or even damage air system components.
  1. Remove your electrostatic filter from furnace or air conditioning unit.
  2. Attach power nozzle to hose and turn water on to full pressure.
  3. Back wash filter from the clean side with a tight, direct stream of water for two or three minutes being sure to cover the entire surface area.
  4. Not required every month (suggested two to three times per year) Spray mild solution of dish washing liquid on both sides of your electrostatic air filter. Let stand for two or three minutes and repeat step three.
  5. Stand electrostatic air filter up with the drain hole on the bottom side allow to drain for 15 to 30 min. or until drip free.

Lifetime Warranty and Return Policy

Limitations

This warranty does not cover damage due to rough handling, improper cleaning or heat exposure in excess of 210 degrees F.

Warning:

Do not use any spray coatings, nor use your air filter in conjunction with any other furnace filter in the same system.

How to measure: Please measure exactly opening eg. 16"x24" filter will be made 1/4 to 3/8 inch smaller, thickness indicated as 1" is also less by 1/8 of inch.
